SPRING GALA "SPRING FLING" SAVE THE DATE March 29, 2012 7PM-11PM Memorare Club in Seaford Hosted by the Seaford Manor Executive Board Needed: Donations of your lovely Holiday Gifts that you would like to donate ( regift )! Empty Baskets New and Unused Items Donations of Goods and Services from Local Merchants We have streamlined preparation for this event, therefore our first meeting will be held on February 1st at 2PM in the AP Room. | Our Spring Fling is quickly approaching! Please stop by the Manor Lobby and pick up a few letters to give to local merchants requesting goods and services to be donated to our annual fundraiser. The letter are located next to the PTA Suggestion Box in the lobby. Also, Class Parents, your baskets for the Spring Fling are due Wednesday, March 14th. | DANNON Rally for Recess News: Manor Playground POSTAGE STAMP DRIVE: Our current position fluctuates between 1st and 2nd place in the Dannon Rally for Recess Contest. The PTA will be conducting a Postage Stamp Drive the week of 1/16/12. The postage stamps will be used to send Dannon information so that we can receive points to add to our school. The prize is $20,000.00 to be used to purchase playground equipment and they will also give us an Ultimate Recess Day that would be held on June 15th. If each family donates 1 stamp that would give our school an additional 1000 points. Send your stamp or stamps in an envelope marked PTA Stamps. You are invited to the Seaford Community Wide Blood Drive When: Saturday, February 4th, 2012 Time: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Where: Seaford HS Gym Blood supply is at an all time low. Your donation can help save the lives of three people! Friends and Family are encouraged to participate! No excuses! Be part of one of the most successful blood drives in New York! Eligibility Criteria: Valid ID Minimum weight 110lbs Age 16 (with parental permission) to 75 (or older, with Dr's note) Eat and drink well that morning No tattoos for past 12 months |
